A newer version of C.R.A.M.P. with a new gun, nearly there. Maybe just a few little tweeks then it should be ready.

Once apon a Thyme.....

I small update on the "OldBoy" RoBoT, I've been thinking more about stories and more precisely what they might be about. So I thought as an Ex-Military RoBoT "OldBoy" has turned his hand to gardening and obviously the outdoor lifestyle and lack of servicing would give him quite a rusty and battered appearance. I also like the rocket launcher on his back being used to carry his tools around. Just a bit of fluff to help the idea mature in my head.

So, no posts for a while but no-one reads this anyway but here is Sgt.4211420 a veteran "Grunt" bot and a bit of a bastard by all accounts. Pretty happy with this, starting to get some nice texture made to make the characters looking quite good. More to come.

So here's how my RoBoTz are coming along, only a few more to do then I can start to get on with it for real. Just hope it's all worth it in the end. But hey ho, back to the grind and maybe some more juice. Ta ta for now. =)

Well what a busy week, went camp(ing) which was nice even if the midgies did try to take all my blood. I think I've had a little revelation, I'm probably never going to make any sort of living out of Animation (shock horror) so instead of working out how to pimp my labours I'm just going to carry on doing what feels right and if someone somewhere sometime likes it enough to commision something then that's great but if not at least I'm doing what makes me happy. The one unfortunate downside to this plan is that I will have to get a "proper" job to fund living and that but never mind, I can retreat to my Fortress of Absurditute and they can't take that away from me. So in short, Happy, Moan, Revelation, Sad, Happy, Hope, Job, Acceptance. Not bad for a nights ponderings.

C.R.A.M.P. Ready for Duty...I think?

Well this is where I'm at so far, I think he's pretty much ready to go. Next up I'm going to make a few short test Animation to work out how it'll move and to give it some personality them maybe make a short comic strip to put it in a few scenarios. Due to the huge amount of interest I've had for this my E-mail adress has melted so I scooped it up and re-set it in the freezer so that should be fine. Thanks all.

So this is how he's looking so far, still have some issues with the rigging but I'm pretty happy with it so far. Not that anyone one will read this but nevermind, so how by putting this out there so people could see it that makes me feel a bit better about it somehow. Anyways if anyone does accidentally stumble across this somehow please let me know of your existence. So for now..... bye.
